The JCCS wish list for our K-8 music program includes a class set of Turbano drums (shown above) and we have just learned of an anonymous donor willing to fund half the cost!  In response, the fundraising arm of our APC has gotten busy and has discovered an easy and, hopefully, profitable fundraiser that allows us all to shop in an ecologically responsible way and support Fair Trade through Greenraising.com!  It is hoped that the remainder of the approximately $2,500 sticker price (plus shipping) can be quickly raised so the drums can be purchased, delivered and in use by students by January. 

 The Juneau Community Charter School has registered with this on-line vendor and any purchases made by JCCS supporters between December 1st through the 15th will net our school 45% of the sale price. This is a perfect opportunity to start or finish your holiday shopping while raising funds for the purchase of these drums. 

 Here's how to do it:

• Go to www.greenraising.com and start shopping.
• Select "Juneau Community Charter School" as the affiliate non-profit.
• Choose one of two shipping options:

1.    Shipped FREE to our organization's address BUT orders must be made by Friday, December 9th. Items will be shipped parcel post and you will be contacted upon arrival to arrange pick-up or delivery, however there is the possibility that your items might not arrive before December 25.

2.    You pay the shipping to your own address.  Items will be shipped to the destination you chose within a couple of days of your order.  This should ensure on time delivery.
